About the role

Children's Specialty Care is an integral part of MultiCare's Behavioral Health Department, providing individual, family, and group therapy services in an outpatient setting.
This program serves patients experiencing a broad range of behavioral health disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring diagnoses.
The Mental Health Professional is an exciting clinical opportunity responsible for counseling and case management service.

Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and crisis plans in collaboration with youth and their families.
Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) based on assessment findings.
Deliver services in a variety of settings, including the office, home, school, and community, based on client and family needs.
Apply evidence-based and evidence-informed practices, including Positive Behavior Support principles, to guide assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and discharge planning.
Coordinate care and collaborate with internal teams, schools, Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) Case Resource Managers, community partners, and other service providers as clinically indicated.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency, county, contract, state, and regulatory requirements.
The Behavior Support Team (BeST) provides short-term, community-based intervention services throughout King County for families of children with developmental disabilities who are experiencing behavioral challenges.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply evidence-based and evidence-informed outpatient therapy techniques and clinical service skills to support the diverse needs of children, youth, and families.

Masters degree in a related field
Partnering with patients, families and neighbors across the Pacific Northwest for more than 140 years.
a reliable, insured vehicle is required.
Participate in weekly clinical supervision, team meetings, case consultations, and other required meetings.
Experience credit begins once the minimum qualifications for the position have been met (e.g., completion of a master's degree and an active associate license).
