About the role

The Assistant Director for Career Education will report to an Associate Director, in the Experiential Education and Career Development department, and will provide career coaching, program management and support for students, employers and alumni, primarily on the Boston Campus, but throughout the Northeastern University global network.

They will provide individualized support to students, deliver career development workshops, and participate in the department's efforts to support career exploration, job seeking, and employer engagement.

Experience working with or advising students and/or early-career professionals with the ability to translate complex industry dynamics into accessible, actionable guidance.
Strong organizational skills with a track record of designing and managing efficient systems, programs and events with careful attention to detail and operational excellence.
Proficiency with career management platforms (e.g., Handshake), labor market intelligence tools (e.g., Lightcast, LinkedIn Talent Insights), and AI-enabled career development tools.

$53,615.00 - $75,728.75
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
