About the role

  • Your ability to communicate effectively, address client concerns and work quickly to solve client needs will be crucial for the success of this role.

  • As a Business Development Account Manager, you will be expected to work independently while contributingto the enhancement of our business development processes and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with BD Managers and clients to develop strategies that align with their goals.
  • Redwood Materials is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to join our dynamic team and drive growth in new and existing markets.
  • You will leverage your expertise to understand client needs, and develop tailored solutions, that align with our strategic goals.
  • On a daily basis, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, customer operations, product management, and accounting to ensure a seamless client experience and successful partnership execution.
  • Your role will heavily involve nurturing existing relationships to drive long-term success for Redwood Materials.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with BD Managers and clients to develop strategies that align with their goals.

Requirements

  • Sales/business/technical sales experience more than 5 years.
  • An ability to have fun while tackling hard problems!

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or business. Technical background a plus.
  • Fluent in English for global communication to lead the account management.
  • People skills to develop good relationships with customers even when the situation is very tough.

  • A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or business.

  • Automotive, mining, metallurgical or lithium-ion battery industry experience is strongly preferred. ·
