About the role
- The quality specialist monitors, inspects, and tests the quality of manufactured products and engineering deliverables.
- This role entails collaboration with shop technicians working in the parts manufacturing shop.
- Your primary responsibility is the inspection and acceptance of electronic assemblies and aircraft installation kits.
Responsibilities
- Maintain MASD PMA quality manual for shop production activities
- Demonstrated intellectual humility, high levels of emotional intelligence, and an innate ability to challenge one's own thinking and adjust to others
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be results-oriented and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations
- Must be able to accomplish all duties with little or no assistance
- Must have good command of the English language, oral and written
- It enables groups to self-organize around hard problems, shift fluidly as priorities evolve, and operate with the trust, curiosity, and discipline required in a complex mission space.
- Experience with soldering and crimping techniques
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
Nice to have
- Prior technical manufacturing experience in the aviation industry strongly preferred
