About the role

The Staff Accountant - Income Audit is responsible for auditing and reconciling daily resort revenues, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, and assisting with month-end close activities.
This position works closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Spa, Golf, Retail, and other operational departments to verify transactions and identify discrepancies before financial reporting.
Daily Income Audit Audit and reconcile daily revenue from all resort outlets, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Spa, Golf, Retail, Recreation, and other revenue centers.

Beyond daily audit, the role owns core cash, banking, and credit card reconciliations and provides cross-functional support to the wider accounting team, offering strong exposure across the full accounting cycle.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain clear supporting schedules and audit trails for all cash, banking, and card reconciliations.
Maintain organized documentation supporting financial transactions.
Operational Partnership Partner with resort departments to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Cross-Functional Accounting Support Provide backup and cross-functional support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions during month-end close, peak periods, or team member absences.
Build broad exposure across the accounting cycle - a strong foundation for growth within the Finance team.
Cash, Banking & Credit Card Reconciliations Perform monthly bank reconciliations for the resort's operating and depository accounts, researching and clearing outstanding and reconciling items on a timely basis.

Hospitality, resort, or hotel accounting experience.
Knowledge of hotel night audit and income audit processes.
Experience with Opera PMS, Micros POS, or similar hospitality systems.
Familiarity with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience reconciling high-volume credit card and merchant settlements (e.g., Shift4, American Express).
Exposure to accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes.
Your work will provide leadership with reliable financial information, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to the continued success of Everline Resort & Spa.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00

Assist Accounts Payable with invoice coding, matching, and vendor statement reconciliation when additional coverage is helpful.

Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal control procedures.
