About the role
- Job Description: Under the direction of the Foreperson and Site Superintendent, the Pipe Layer is to lay and join concrete, and plastic, pipe for drains, sewers, and small utilities.
- This position will ensure that the ground is prepared and the trenches dug out for the pipes.
- The work requires manual labor as well as assisting other positions involved in the projects with hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain tools, chop saw, and equipment in good condition and according to safety standards
- Create lists of necessary tools, materials, and supplies that are needed to perform the work
- Shoot elevations for manholes, pipe, roadways and building lots
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks in various environments and conditions including heavy lifting more than 50 lbs
Requirements
- All AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs must be reviewed for accuracy, quality, and appropriateness before use.
- 2+ years of experience
- Driver's License is required
Compensation
- $36-50 per hour based on experience
