Responsibilities

  • Navigate and utilize applicable Technical Orders (T.O.'s), manuals, and Navy/DoD technical publications to develop and validate maintenance processes.
  • Translate engineering requirements and design intent into clear, executable instructions suitable for use by maintenance technicians.
  • If so, our Defense Systems wants you to join our Team as a SCA Production Control Clerk and support a maintenance program with Northrop Grumman in Lake Charles, LA.
  • Author, revise, and maintain detailed work instructions to support depot-level maintenance, repair, overhaul, and modification of U.S. Navy aircraft and associated components.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of four years of experience working in a highly technical manufacturing/production work environment.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience authoring, modifying, and auditing work procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to have

  • Prior E-6B experience
  • Experience performing major aircraft modifications
  • Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

Compensation

  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
  • Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
  • Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
