- Leveraging AI and predictive algorithms, Inkitt discovers unknown stories and turns them into blockbuster hits, producing a new $1M ebook every 7 days and selling directly to consumers through its Inkitt Galatea app.
- Inkitt has become the 11th most bestseller-generating publisher in the world, boasting a 40x higher hit-rate than traditional publishers.
- This is an in-office role, requiring 5 days per week onsite at our San Francisco (South Park) office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, working side‑by‑side on strategic priorities, planning cycles, and special projects that drive Inkitt's growth.
- Support decision‑making by conducting deep strategic and analytical work, identifying trends, and providing data‑driven insights.
- Manage the flow of information to and from the CEO, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and strong executive alignment.
- Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- High emotional intelligence and humility-able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and executives.
Requirements
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office Monday-Friday.
Nice to have
- MBA required from a top institution, paired with strong strategic and operational acumen.
- Top-tier consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, or Bridgewater) or investment banking experience required.
- Ideally have additional experience in a strategy/product/business operations role at a tech company
- 4-6 years of professional experience in management consulting, strategy, or executive operations.
- Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable in hands‑on execution mode.
- Passion for technology, storytelling, and the intersection of AI and entertainment.
