About the role

As an Interior Designer with Gensler's team in Atlanta, your role is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce purposeful, functional and beautiful spaces for our clients.

Support interior design assignments that include interpreting client's needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation
Collaborate with teammates on the selection and presentation of furniture systems, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
Generate design with 3D models, Revit, Sketchup or other software, create digital 3D view to communicate design concepts
Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
Support communication with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
3-6 years of relevant interior design and interior architecture experience within a commercial design firm
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building skills

Bachelor's or master's degree in interior architecture, or Interior Design from an accredited program

NCIDQ certified preferred (if you are on the path to certification, please feel free to contact Stacie_Smith@gensler.com whether there may be another role that is aligned with your background)
LEED accreditation or WELL AP is preferred
