About the role

Prepare engineering calculations and detailed mechanical drawings.
Review shop drawings for compliance with engineering codes and safety standards.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.

Lead mechanical engineering design activities on major projects in the United States.
Design, model, and simulate mechanical systems for hyperscale and AI data centers, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, cooling towers, chilled water systems, and boilers.
Design highly energy-efficient and sustainable systems.
Create technical documentation for project execution, including design criteria and specifications.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to coordinate BIM models and resolve conflicts.
Develop and maintain project scope documentation and revisions Utilize BIM tools for virtual construction of mechanical systems and coordination with other disciplines.
Support construction administration Utilize laser scanning technology to document installation states.

This ranges from designing energy efficient facilities, site supervision for multi-million-dollar facilities, to the production of digital twins, drawings, three-dimensional building modeling, computational fluid dynamics, and the development of custom controls software.

What We Expect: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience with data center projects or other large-scale industrial projects is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit), CAD tools, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software preferred Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes.
