About the role

Responsibilities
- Performs quality ultrasound procedures by utilizing proper positioning skills and technical factors, as well as a knowledge of anatomical structures pertinent to the patient population of infants to geriatrics.
- Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
- Educates patients of exams being performed and obtains consent to perform procedure when necessary.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following.
- Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME's every 3 yrs/annual payment) Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
