About the role

  • The Corporate Finance Manager plays a critical role in supporting the financial performance, planning, and strategic decision-making of Starwood Hotels across its global portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop financial models and business analyses to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Support new hotel openings, transitions, and strategic corporate initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships across Finance, Operations, Corporate Accounting, and Hotel Leadership.
  • Lead financial analytics for Starwood Hotels' Restaurants & Nightlife division.
  • Develop dashboards and standardized reporting to improve operational visibility.
  • Support executive leadership and ownership with financial insights and recommendations.
  • Develop scalable reporting solutions that support portfolio growth.
  • Maintain and enhance standardized reporting templates, dashboards, and financial models.
  • Support improvements to financial planning systems, reporting automation, and data integrity.
  • This position supports the monthly close process, portfolio performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives while serving as the finance lead for the Restaurants & Nightlife division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required.
  • Five (5)+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or Hospitality Finance.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and operational performance metrics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a strong understanding of the bigger business picture.

Nice to have

  • Hospitality, real estate, or multi-unit operating experience preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems (SUN, EPM, On Track, HMS, Infogenesis, or similar ERP/reporting platforms) preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred.
