- Salary Range - $65,531 - $91,299

- The Mental Health Care Manager (MHCM) supports and facilitates the care of student mental health and well-being on campus.
- Triaging students who are needing mental health or related support.
- Referring students to the relevant support services (i.e. medical, counselling, academic supports, etc.)
- Coaching, encouraging and empowering students in their mental health journey
- Receiving Early Intervention Forms (or related forms/communications) from staff and faculty and developing a plan of care for mental health support for the students involved
- Supporting students who are experiencing semi-urgent or urgent mental health situations, with referral to appropriate crisis services as needed
- Developing a supportive reintegration plan for students returning to campus after hospitalization/ER/medical leave related to mental health issues.
- Student Mental Health Support:
- May involve developing relationships and connections with local mental health agencies and other external supports, making arrangements with partnering agencies, community resources, etc., as needed.
- Identifying and supporting students who are facing barriers or are experiencing higher risk to their mental health
- Promoting mental health and well-being on campus
