  • Provides technical expertise in system functionality, communicates effectively with customers and supervisors, and ensures timely restoration of proper facility conditions.
  • Plans and completes repairs on sprinkler, fire protection systems, and controls for short-range projects.

Responsibilities

  • Tests, troubleshoots, installs, repairs, and maintains various Fire Control Systems (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Notifier, etc.) in compliance with all fire protection codes.
  • Performs fire pump testing (Knowledge of how to perform testing).
  • Keeps Building Services supervisors aware of facility conditions, problems, and needs.
  • Maintains effective communication with other Facility Maintenance Coordinators and other maintenance staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • No specific certification/professional license is required for this position.
  • General Maintenance Or Skilled Trade Function (3 Years)
  • Three years' experience in fire protection maintenance.

Nice to have

  • Trade School Diploma - in fire protection system repair or related field.
  • Certifications /Professional Licenses:
  • Fire Alarms Systems Level III - National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies
  • Work Experience:
  • Hospital Or Large Corporate/Industrial Complex (5 Years)
