Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of administrative support to the Dean, including schedule management and school communication.
- Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion, this position is responsible for administrative support to the Dean.
- Front-facing position ensuring professional and efficient day-to-day support of school leadership.
Requirements
- High school degree and five years of administrative experience are required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Preference will be given to administrative experience in academic and/or executive setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information.
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
- Arrange meetings, travel, and special events forthe Dean as required.
- Administrative support for Dean's academic teaching load, when required.
- Well-developed professionalism, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills
- Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
- Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations.
Nice to have
- College experience preferred.
- Travel arrangement and expense reconciliation experience a plus.
