Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a strong IT team with broad organizational impact
  • Partner with leaders across Altarum to align technology with mission, growth, and client needs
  • We partner with federal and state agencies to design and deliver solutions that make a real, measurable difference.
  • We're looking for a mission-driven Director of Information Technology to lead our enterprise IT strategy, strengthen internal technology operations, and serve as a senior technical partner on client-facing solutions.
  • Can lead both internal IT operations and external technical solutioning

  • Experienced leading enterprise IT operations in a secure, compliance-driven environment
  • Comfortable operating in both internal leadership and client-facing advisory roles
  • Strong in information security, governance, risk management, and technology modernization
  • A clear communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for business, legal, operational, and client audiences

Compensation

  • This role is considered Hybrid with occasional in-person collaboration days and will be located in either Silver Spring, MD; or Novi, MI - you'll join us in person one day every other month ( 6 times per year ) for a fun, purpose-driven C
