8+ years working in a communications role in an in-house, government, consultancy environment.

Communicates effectively up, down, and across teams.
Provides strategic guidance to junior staff, delivering clear, actionable feedback that sharpens thinking and strengthens execution.
Crafts clear work plans and delegates effectively.
Strategy Drafts and oversees development of clear, strategic, and persuasive content across projects.
Ensures deliverables drive long-term goals.
Anticipates gaps or misalignments before they arise, guides teams to course-correct, and ensures alignment with strategic objectives.
Experience managing strategic communications programs and sensitive communications issues.
Wide-ranging relationships with the media.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative and energetic approach to solving client issues.
Experience working with multiple clients at the same time.
Meticulous attention to detail.

Our team is seeking an Associate Vice President to join our Strategic Communications team in New York, NY or Washington DC executing cutting-edge communications strategy for clients ranging from nonprofits and advocacy groups to media start-ups and industry leaders.
Centering our strategies around the authentic voices and cultures of the communities we are engaging with is paramount to our work - and our work can only be as inclusive as our team is representative.
We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office 50% of working days per month.
