He or she will establish our global supply chain strategy, source suppliers, contracts, and execute to deliver a world class CapEx program.
The role will support our Manufacturing, and Engineering teams in sourcing of CapEx equipment including but not limited to, Manufacturing process equipment for powertrain assembly, and R&D/test equipment.

Thoroughly negotiate favorable contracts including equipment pricing, tooling, development, timing, spare parts, and payment terms
Bachelor's degree in technical or supply chain discipline, MBA, plus 5 years minimum Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Engineering experience related to capital equipment or product assembly processes
Understanding of automotive assembly processes.
Product launch experience…you did not just sit behind a desk and source.
Candidate must be one that will actively work with the supplier and manufacturing as the equipment is built, tested, and installed
Understanding of manufacturing and quality principles
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution.
