About the role
- As an Resi Solar Business Development Account Manager you will be responsible for managing key partner relationships by aligning sales strategy with operational execution to drive performance and engagement. Forecasts monthly and quarterly sales and installation targets, leveraging insights into partner goals, procurement strategies, and market dynamics. Collaborates cross-functionally to resolve partner issues, support pricing and product initiatives, and maintain a centralized CRM system for business-wide use. Applies industry knowledge to consult with partners on business challenges and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain/acquire relevant solar knowledge to consult with potential partners about business challenges, requirements, options and cost benefits.
Responsibilities
- Forecast monthly and quarterly achievement of sales and installation targets while having a deep understanding of partner goals, procurement strategy and overall business.
- Identify, research, and resolve partner issues using deep institutional knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Drive strong partner engagement by aligning sales strategy with operational execution
- Provide feedback on market trends and competitive threats and opportunities to deliver greater value to partners.
- Be proactive, solution oriented, collaborative, and creative to deliver industry leading levels of service.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to address partner needs, develop pricing strategies, support new product initiatives, and align on overall business strategy
- Support the development and maintenance of a partner tracking and CRM system for cross-functional use across the business unit

- Minimum Education and Experience:
- College degree in Business Administration, IT, Operations, or other applicable field of study, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years in the Solar industry required
- Energy or solar industry experience a plus
- IT Application Development knowledge a plus
Compensation
- $87,630.00 - $140,210.00 *This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
- This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
