About the role
- Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the Materials Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials among departments to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Buyers and Planners to ensure material needs of production are met Follow up with vendors and buyers regarding lead times for materials and obtain tracking information; coordinate delivery dates, as needed Follow up on any items showing short by working with purchasing and engineering to get a resolution in place Update the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP system Notify appropriate internal teams (project managers, production managers, etc.) of any issues and material shortages that could potentially affect production Perform other related duties as assigned
