About the role
- SGNL forms a core part of CrowdStrike's Continuous Identity control plane, providing real-time identity security that discovers, protects, and continuously verifies human, non-human, and AI identities across hybrid, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments.
- By enforcing Zero Standing Privileges, SGNL replaces static, broad permissions with just-in-time (JIT) access and continuous authorization that dynamically grants, adjusts, or revokes privileges based on live business and security context.
- Furthermore, SGNL powers real-time Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) by translating threat signals directly into immediate enforcement actions-such as step-up authentication, session revocation, and blocking lateral movement.
