About the role
- The desired location for the position will be Amarillo/Canyon Texas area.
- The US Cattle Unit is one of the largest businesses within Zoetis' worldwide operations.
- It will be advantageous for the person in this position to understand the Cow/Calf, Stocker, Feedlot markets.
Responsibilities
- Building relationships and influence within key trade channels including veterinarians, distributors, extension, and university personnel.
- Teamwork - Share, collaborate and act as a team player
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) and/or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Master's in animal science or equivalent degree is a plus
- A minimum of 6 months of cattle related experience preferred for Associate Territory Business Manager
- A minimum of 3 years of cattle related experience for a Territory Business Manager
Skills
- In-depth product and disease knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications
- The position will require a valid driver's license
- Requires individual to be able to work on Beef Operations
- Requires individual to be willing to work with cows from husbandry to treatment administration and product administration education.
