Job available in this location: New York, NY Our Market Transactions practice is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant - US Power Markets Modeler to join the team.

Analytical skills applied to wholesale electricity market fundamentals, with hands-on experience of production cost modeling in PLEXOS or other software (e.g. PROMOD, AURORA, SaaS tools)
Experience of handling and processing large amounts of data using (e.g.) Python
Excellent communication and presentation skills and a track record of effective team working with people from different disciplines with different backgrounds
Experience in commercial and contracting structures, with an understanding of the routes to market for power generation assets and designing business models in energy markets
Case studies of how you have applied AI in your day-to-day work to improve efficiency, quality, or other business objectives
Experience with energy scenario development, capacity expansion analysis, including translating assumptions into model runs and decision-ready insights
Track record of producing thought leadership, and supporting business development initiatives in a commercially-oriented environment.
