About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to all phases of project execution - from conceptual design and detailed engineering to procurement support, fabrication, and field execution.
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.

Contribute to conceptual engineering, FEED, and detailed design for onshore and offshore facilities (Greenfield and Brownfield).
Develop technical specifications, requisitions, and bid evaluations for equipment packages.
Perform engineering calculations including hydraulics, relief/vent sizing, PSV and control valve sizing, tank venting, and supervision of pipe stress analysis.
Coordinate with drafting/design teams to deliver accurate drawings and layouts.
Support procurement, vendor interfaces, and regulatory submittals.
Perform site visits (onshore and offshore) to collect data, survey existing facilities, and support upgrades or modifications.
Work closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
This role will support the design, procurement, and fabrication of equipment for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities, as well as emerging renewable energy projects.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
Ability to work multiple projects, work overtime as needed, and travel 10-20% (typical) or as required by project.
Experience in LNG/cryogenic facilities, renewable natural gas (RNG), or CO₂ capture/storage.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Occasional out-of-town travel required.
Oil & gas experience is preferred but not required - we value problem solvers with strong technical skills, integrity, and a willingness to learn.

8-15 years of relevant engineering experience (oil & gas preferred).
Preferred Skills Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

Offshore experience Working Conditions Office-based (not hybrid), with periodic travel to onshore plants and offshore platforms.
