About the role
- As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to all phases of project execution - from conceptual design and detailed engineering to procurement support, fabrication, and field execution.
- You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to conceptual engineering, FEED, and detailed design for onshore and offshore facilities (Greenfield and Brownfield).
- Develop technical specifications, requisitions, and bid evaluations for equipment packages.
- Perform engineering calculations including hydraulics, relief/vent sizing, PSV and control valve sizing, tank venting, and supervision of pipe stress analysis.
- Coordinate with drafting/design teams to deliver accurate drawings and layouts.
- Support procurement, vendor interfaces, and regulatory submittals.
- Perform site visits (onshore and offshore) to collect data, survey existing facilities, and support upgrades or modifications.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
- This role will support the design, procurement, and fabrication of equipment for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities, as well as emerging renewable energy projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
- working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to work multiple projects, work overtime as needed, and travel 10-20% (typical) or as required by project.
- Experience in LNG/cryogenic facilities, renewable natural gas (RNG), or CO₂ capture/storage.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Occasional out-of-town travel required.
- Oil & gas experience is preferred but not required - we value problem solvers with strong technical skills, integrity, and a willingness to learn.
Nice to have
- 8-15 years of relevant engineering experience (oil & gas preferred).
- Preferred Skills Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

- $10k-$20k
