About the role

PRIMARY PURPOSE The Banquet Supervisor serves The Navigators in line with its calling, values, and purpose: to advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom through spiritual generations of laborers.
This role oversees all banquet functions at The Glen Eyrie Conference Center, ensuring staff follow service standards and departmental policies, with a focus on front-of-house activities.

Maintain positive and professional attitude
Maintain proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Conference Center
Performs basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
May take "lead" position for a specific function
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Banquet Supervisor and Food & Beverage Director

High School diploma or equivalent required
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work independently as well as a team in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation required
Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
Previous waitstaff experience
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent oral communication and listening skills

Participate in the annual, organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR) process.
