About the role

  • Decagon is growing quickly and we're looking for a Technical Sourcer to help us find and engage exceptional technical talent.
  • Source and engage exceptional talent across Engineering and other technical roles
  • Research companies, teams, and talent markets to identify candidates others might miss

Responsibilities

  • We're building a future where customer experiences are being redefined from support tickets and hold music to faster resolutions, richer conversations, and deeper relationships.
  • You'll own top-of-funnel across some of our highest-priority technical searches, from mapping talent markets and identifying great candidates to crafting outreach and building relationships.
  • We care more about raw ability, drive, and potential than whether you've followed a traditional recruiting career path.
  • This could be a great fit for an agency recruiter looking to move in-house, a Recruiting Coordinator or Sourcer ready to take on more ownership, or someone from a high-velocity sales environment who wants to build a career in Talent.
  • Build creative sourcing strategies for competitive and hard-to-fill searches
  • Build relationships with candidates and create an exceptional experience from the first interaction
  • Decagon's Talent team partners directly with company leadership to shape org design, define what success looks like, and hire the people who will shape our future.

Requirements

  • Develop a strong understanding of technical profiles and what differentiates great engineers

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in sourcing, agency recruiting, recruiting coordination, sales, or another high-velocity environment

Skills

  • Experiment with AI and new tools to make sourcing faster, smarter, and more effective
  • You're naturally curious and enjoy learning how companies, teams, and technologies work
