- The Operational Excellence Specialist will foster a culture of change, continuous improvement and aligning processes with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, and implement projects to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity in warehouse and retail operations
- Supports the standardization of all FC and Retail Fulfilment Operations - creating a consistent way to operate and bring best practices to all operations.
- Help to develop and maintain processes, training and performance metrics
- Coordinate with various business units to develop, test, and refine new warehousing processes and practices
- Use appropriate measurement, analysis, and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements

- This role will be crucial in optimizing business processes, which leads to increased efficiency, reduced waste, improved quality, and better decision-making across our fulfillment centers and retail stores.
Requirements
- Analytical skills with ability to dive deep into data and find root causes, trends and opportunities
- Ability to convey complex procedures in simple, easy-to-understand language
- Experience in coaching and training team members with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in operations (transport, warehousing, fulfillment, etc.) either in analytical or operational capacity
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt and thrive in ambiguous situations
- Hands-on experience working through end-to-end fulfillment operations - including inbound receiving, quality inspection, outbound picking and packing, and returns processing - with the ability to identify friction points and improvement opportunities at each stage.
- Demonstrated background in process improvement and operations leadership, with a track record of owning metrics, building reporting, and measuring the impact of changes over time - not just identifying problems, but closing the loop on outcomes.
- Experience conducting time studies to surface inefficiencies, designing and piloting solutions, and monitoring results with discipline - comfortable operating in a test-and-learn environment where hypotheses need to be validated before scaling.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various team members to implement initiatives with subject matter experts, end-users, and other stakeholders to gather input and feedback
- Experience with continuous improvement, health & safety, and bonus points for experience with formal methodologies (e.g., lean, project management, etc).
- Proficient understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Google Suite, and Excel
- Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certifications (e.g., L6S Belt, CAPM, PMP, etc.)
- Continuous improvement mentality - relentlessly looking for the next opportunity, curious to find ways to improve operations and making it happen!
Compensation
- $62 500- $84,650
- Mejuri recognizes the importance of pay transparency when it comes to salary ranges as it empowers individuals through the hiring process and supports them in making an informed decision.
- This role currently has a base pay range of 62 500 to 84 650 per annum based on a candidate's experience and qualifications.
- We will review individual salary expectations and **weight salary commensurate with experience.
