About the role
- The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping of product.
- The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventories.
- Individuals in this position will operate a liquefied propane or electric forklift to move, stack and store product.
Responsibilities
- Counts all products, compares to delivery document, and checks for damage
- Maintains product locator system
- Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area
- Maintains equipment in a neat and clean fashion
Requirements
- Must have responsible work habits and pass any pre-employment test, drug test, and background check
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
- Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
- Ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings
- Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)
