About the role
- Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
Requirements
- Required Licenses/Certifications
- Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills
Nice to have
- Shift Differentials apply in addition for evening and weekends
- Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
- Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
- One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required.
- Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
- National Certification
- Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred
- Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, casting etc.
