  • Schools in the Archdiocese must meet the following minimum professional standards:
  • The Archdiocese does not hire or employ Heads of Catholic Schools.
  • Heads of Catholic Schools are hired by and work for the Catholic school or parish.
  • Parishes and Catholic schools are legally separate and distinct from the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
  • In doing so, you authorize the Archdiocese to share your application with Catholic schools in the Archdiocese which are seeking leadership candidates.
  • Employment in and by the Church is substantially different from secular employment.
  • Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner which is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
  • Their behavior must not violate the faith, morals, or laws of the Church or the Archdiocese, such that can embarrass the Church or give rise to scandal.
