About the role
- Perpay is seeking a driven Analyst to join our team as a key player in growing our impact on our customers' financial futures.
- You will take on a pivotal role in breaking down complex business problems from across our organization, using data to uncover the factors at play, and formulating recommendations to help us take action intelligently.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Complex Business Problems: Partner with stakeholders from across the business to define challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven insights.
- Deliver Executive-Ready Recommendations: Translate analysis into clear, compelling recommendations, presenting them directly to senior leadership and influencing decision-making at the highest level.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Build strong relationships across teams to ensure data insights are actionable and impactful, fostering trust in our analytics team.
- Build Scalable Solutions: Contribute to the development of self-service BI tools and dashboards that empower teams to make data-informed decisions.
- Thrive in Ambiguity: Drive projects forward with minimal direction, navigating uncertainty with creativity and determination to uncover solutions.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative/STEM field (graduated in 2024-2026), or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience framing and then solving problems through data analysis and quantitative thinking
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Ability to communicate recommendations effectively verbally and in writing
- Comfort in driving a project forward independently amidst ambiguity and change
- Your ability to think critically, dive deep into data, and communicate insights effectively will have a lasting impact on our organization's success.
Nice to have
- Experience presenting to C-Level executives
- Experience at a startup (especially in financial technology)
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools e.g. Domo, Power BI, Tableau
- Experience with Git and Github
