Responsibilities

  • Support Patient Access in updating patient information, processing insurance requirements and acts as liaison with other departments.
  • Exhibits leadership skills needed to support the department and to assist staff with adhering to departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel is helpful.
  • Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently.
  • Applicants may be required to furnish proof of vaccination.

Compensation

  • $21.55 - $28.87 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Benefits

  • Rotate through all Patient Access areas and fill-in wherever needed to provide coverage.
  • Some college or post HS education preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Can include insurer or public health setting as well.
  • At least 5 years experience in patient registration and/or eligibility and benefits.
