Responsibilities
- CFD Research has earned multiple national awards for successful application and commercialization of innovative component/system technology prototypes, multi-physics simulation software, multi-disciplinary analyses, and expert support services.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or 15 years equivalent experience, in Quality and Manufacturing or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering
- 14+ years of CMM inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, MODUS, or similar.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
- Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- U.S. Citizenship required and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is also required
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and digital quality systems.
- Support first article inspections (FAI) as required.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or precision machining industries.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Compensation
