About the role
- S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders.
- The Inpatient Unit Licensed Practical Nurse does not function as a Case Manager but as part of a nursing team including a Registered Nurse.
- Submits appropriate documentation and paperwork to facilities at the completion of patient visits.
Responsibilities
- The Inpatient Unit Licensed Practical Nurse participates in directed care delivery including functional and focused nursing tasks as assigned by the Registered Nurse and provides ADL and other support as directed.
- Gathers clinical data and provides to RN via documentation and communication in order to support comprehensive assessment and plan of care management.

Requirements
- It is his/her responsibility to report observations and to complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Submits all required documentation in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full time experience as an LPN required.
- Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

- Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state(s) of employment required.

- Provides nursing services as directed by the RN.
- Administers medications, treatments, etc. as directed.
