About the role

Blackstone Technology & Innovations (BXTI) is the technology team at the core of each of Blackstone's businesses and new growth initiatives.

Lead the global Voice and Video Engineering team within the BXTI Enterprise Technology function.
Own the lifecycle of platforms such as Zoom, Crestron, and other conferencing solutions.
Drive R&D initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to Blackstone.
Benchmark Blackstone's voice and video capabilities against industry peers to maintain competitive advantage.
Oversee design and engineering for capital projects related to new office spaces globally.
Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of voice/video solutions.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for voice and video platforms and services.
Develop and maintain documentation for engineering designs, standards, and processes.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Lead capacity planning and performance optimization for voice and video infrastructure.

Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client facing role and/or if you are engaged in the following:

10+ years of experience in voice and video engineering leadership roles within large-scale enterprises.
Deep expertise in platforms such as Zoom, Crestron, and other enterprise conferencing technologies.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Teams Video and Meeting experience.
Proven track record of managing global engineering teams and complex technology ecosystems.
Strong understanding of R&D processes, technology evaluation, and industry benchmarking.
Experience in designing and implementing voice/video solutions for office and collaboration space buildouts.
Familiarity with networking, security and infrastructure requirements for voice/video systems.
Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

$176,250 - $250,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses.
Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone's sole discretion.
