Responsibilities

Creates and maintains ongoing relationships with salvage buyers to foster a market for repurposed and recyclable materials.
Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote the GSFB mission and champion sustainability efforts.
Coordinates with the Director, Aftermarket to analyze and develop pricing strategies for salvage product in accordance with current market value.
Partners with local recyclers to be informed on their market pricing, hazards that have been delivered in our materials and any hours of operation changes to the recycling companies.
Partners with support areas (Asset Protection, Human Resources, Safety, Finance, etc.) to further business goals and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
This role focuses on innovation in recycling processes, identifying and developing opportunities to divert additional commodities from waste streams while maximizing their value.

Requirements

Two years' work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift
Ability to speak and read English proficiently
Ability to pass a background check where applicable for position
