About the role
- Company Description FuseFX is an award-winning Visual Effects Studio providing visual effects services for episodic television, feature films, commercials, virtual productions, and VR.
- Our flagship studio is in Los Angeles, CA, with locations in New York City, Vancouver, BC., and Atlanta.
- Our Montreal, Toronto, and Bogota studios are serviced by FOLKS VFX, who joined FuseFX in 2020.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Maya and Vray Rendering System
- Strong knowledge of full cg lighting/characters/environments
- Experience in Asset Generation, Modelling and Texturing
- Experience in 3D layout with knowledge of camera and mechanical animation.
- Knowledge of applicable software includes: 3dsMax, Houdini, Nuke, Zbrush, Mari, Mudbox, Syntheyes, 3dEquilizer, ptGui, Substance Painter/Designer, and Clarisse.
- 5+ years' experience in a production environment
- Experience embracing the balance of quality and time constraints.
- Strong understanding of lighting principles and color theory
Nice to have
- Previous experience with dynamic FX, and/or Particle simulation, Rigid Body and fluid TD experience is a plus.
