Responsibilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, employees, court officials and the public.
Requirements
- Must be able to interact with others in a positive manner.
- License to practice law in the State of Colorado or ability to within one-year of hire.
- Must have active attorney registration with the Colorado Supreme Court within one-year of hire.
- Ability to effectively prosecute violators of municipal ordinances.
- Ability to learn the principles and procedures of municipal, civil, and constitutional law.
- Lakewood application, a resume and cover letter are required.
Nice to have
- Municipal Prosecutor I: Experience working in a legal environment preferred.
