Responsibilities
- Own take rate and revenue modeling: build, maintain, and continuously improve financial
- Develop a deep understanding of product mechanics - how pricing, volume, auction
- dynamics, and platform features drive take rate - and incorporate that knowledge into
- Perform variance analysis on actuals vs. plan/forecast
- outperformance or shortfall to finance and business partners.
- Support the monthly close process by producing revenue reports, commentary, and

Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex product or business mechanics and
- Proficiency in Excel
- experience with SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) a strong
- Proficiency leveraging AI tools like Claude to accelerate financial analysis, modeling,
- Excellent written and verbal communication - you can distill complex analysis into a
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have
- Experience in adtech, programmatic advertising, or marketplace/platform businesses.
- Familiarity with take rate economics, net/gross revenue distinctions, or auction-based
- Experience with Python or other scripting tools for financial analysis.

Compensation
- The base salary range for this role is
- $64,100 - $117,500 USD
Benefits
- Interns are not eligible for variable incentive awards such as stock-based compensation, retirement plan, vacation, tuition reimbursement or parental leave
- At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.
