Are you an experienced technician who enjoys working on trucks, solving problems independently, and keeping vehicles on the road?
If you take pride in quality repairs and want to work on a diverse fleet of newer cargo vans and box trucks across multiple brands, join the Avis Budget Group team supporting Budget Truck operations.

You will perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks with minimal technical supervision.
You will work on newer vehicles across multiple manufacturers, applying your diesel and medium-duty expertise to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and support a positive customer experience.
On-the-job training to expand your automotive and diesel repair skills, including support toward ASE certifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience performing mechanical repairs and diagnostics on medium-duty or heavy-duty equipment
At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year

Comfortable working outdoors and in a mechanical shop environment with moderate noise levels
Must have a complete set of tools required for automotive and diesel repair
Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
Previous Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience is preferred and considered a strong advantage
