Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
- Leads defect reduction activities (Cut the CoRRS, BPSM, RCCA, DMAIC, etc.) by teaming with other functional support groups.
- Leads Continuous Improvement teams in the area of responsibility.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years' experience leading teams in a formal leadership role or informal role
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- An interim pre-start and final post-start U.S. Secret clearance is required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 1+ years' experience working with or supporting military and/or defense products
- Experience with LEAN methodologies
- Experience with building and developing teams
- Active US security clearance
- Previous Management experience
- Project Leadership experience
Compensation
- $111,350 - $150,650
- Summary pay range K Manager: $111,350 - $150,650
