About the role
- You'll have a direct line to customer impact: understanding how your team's work solves real problems and prioritising accordingly.
- Strong communicator, able to distil complex technical decisions into clear rationale for a range of audiences.
Responsibilities
- You'll sit alongside a Tech Lead, Product Designer, Product Manager, and 4-5 software engineers, with additional support from a Group Engineering Manager, Architect, and coaching function.
- You'll lead cross-team engineering initiatives and collaborate with the Architect to inform technical strategy at the product level.
- You'll be an active participant in the team's leadership - helping to set and deliver goals alongside the Tech Lead and Product Manager.

Requirements
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering work, including cross-team collaboration and breaking down ambiguity into clear delivery.
- Proficiency in modern.NET/C#, Python, or TypeScript, with expertise in at least one.

- You'll work in a team that cares about craft, collaboration, and quality (not hero coding).
Compensation
- Up to £95,000, subject to experience
- Salary range: Up to £95,000, subject to experience
