About the role
- Financial Statement Review - Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Process Improvement - Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes, introducing automation and efficiency enhancements.
- Compliance - Ensure adherence to SOX internal controls and relevant accounting regulations.
Responsibilities
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations - Conduct and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial accounts.
- Staff Management - Lead and manage the accounting team, including mentoring, performance reviews, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.
- Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems, reporting tools, and processes.
- Audit Support - Assist with external audit requirements and ensure timely completion of all audit activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
Nice to have
- Audit experience at Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting firm preferred
