The Florida Panthers enter their 33 rd season in 2026-27 as one of the National Hockey League's premier franchises.
As back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in 2024 and 2025, the Cats have emerged victorious in 11 of their past 12 postseason series and have captured four Eastern Conference championships.
The Panthers are led by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito entering his seventh season, and President of Business Operations Michael White who begins his first full season.

As a part-time Electrician at the Florida Panthers Ice Plex and FTL War Memorial, you'll support the electrical systems that power one of South Florida's most exciting new multi-use facilities.
This role is ideal for a licensed electrician - or someone actively working toward their license - looking to build experience in a high-energy sports and entertainment environment.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems throughout the facility
Identify and report safety hazards promptly; maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment at all times
Technical & Collaborative Support
Coordinate with other trades, vendors, and team members to support event setups and facility projects
Install circuit boards, outlets, motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other electrical equipment
Perform circuit breaker corrective maintenance and routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems
Adhere strictly to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable state and local building regulations

Journeyman Electrician license required in the state of practice
3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience in a commercial or large-venue environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics
Experience in a sports and entertainment venue, arena, or large-scale commercial facility
Experience with motor starters, VFDs, and related industrial electrical components
Experience with HVAC-related electrical systems
Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program
Valid driver's license in the state of practice
Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable building regulations
Proficient with test meters and electrical diagnostic equipment
Strong attention to detail, personal accountability, and a safety-first mindset
Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school
Familiarity with low-voltage systems, lighting controls, and building automation
Must be able to distinguish color-coded wiring (color vision required)

Troubleshoot commercial electrical equipment and systems using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools
Take accurate inventory of tools and supplies; report shortages to supervision
