About the role

  • RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Oversees a team of Systems Engineering Leaders and Senior Systems Engineers, guiding the strategic direction and long-term planning of the Americas HVAC Engineering Team.
  • This role is instrumental in aligning engineering capabilities with Johnson Controls' enterprise growth initiatives, including Strategic Accounts, OpenBlue, Connected Workflow Dashboards, and Vertical Market Solutions.
  • Responsible for establishing and refining engineering processes that promote cost efficiency, consistent project execution, and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Partners effectively with field operations, sales teams, and Regional, and Local Market Leadership to ensure integrated delivery and support across all engineering functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 8.
  • 10 years of progressively more responsibility in the construction and engineering industries.
  • Prior experience in supervision of technical / engineering group.
  • Master's degree or Professional Engineer Registration is highly desired.

Compensation

  • $115,000 - $170,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will consider individual, group, and corporate performance.
