- The Mechanical Engineer will work cross-functionally with engineering, product marketing, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to bring new products to market and ensure existing products meet performance, quality, and cost expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead product validation efforts, including:
- Reliability and durability testing, Performance and flow testing Evaluate and validate products sourced from domestic and international suppliers Conduct experiments, analyze results, and present findings to leadership Respond to and resolve internal quality issues Partner closely with manufacturing and process engineering teams to ensure product readiness Support new product introduction (NPI), including mold development and production ramp-up Troubleshoot production issues and implement design improvements Approve designs prior to full-scale production Create and maintain engineering documentation and technical drawings Work closely with Product Management, Purchasing, Suppliers, and Engineering teams Support R&D initiatives and explore new technologies and materials Train and advise manufacturing personnel on product design and production processes
- Jacuzzi Group is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support the full lifecycle of product development, from concept and design through testing, validation, and production launch.
- This role will play a critical part in developing and improving bath and sanitary ware products, with a strong focus on fluid flow performance, product reliability, and manufacturability.
Requirements
- Experience with CNC programming (highly desirable) Exposure to product validation, testing, and new product introduction (NPI) Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Compensation
- $78,000 + based on experience
