Responsibilities
- Applies and maintains invasive and non-invasive ventilation systems to critically ill patients of all age groups
Nice to have
- Graduate of AMA, JRCTE, or CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program with a minimum of an associate's degree.
- NYS Respiratory Therapist license
- A credentialed RRT/CRT by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Experienced with all basic respiratory therapy modalities, mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, patient assessment and arterial blood gas collection/analysis.
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS required- American Heart Association
Compensation
- Extubates patients when appropriate and provides appropriate airway care following extubation• Provides care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations in the hospital intensive care, non-critical care areas
