About the role
- Come join our dental team at Seldovia Village Tribe (SVT).
- Hours: Full-time, 4 days per week (Mon-Thu), 37.5 hours per week position.
- Provide chair-side assistance to the Dental Director and Dental Hygienist in the delivery of dental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of clinical, administrative and staff-support functions.

Requirements
- ability to communicate in a professional manner, in both verbal and written form, to patients and coworkers.
- Ability to anticipate and respond to patient needs
- Proficiency in Mac, PC, and Microsoft Office Products, required.
- BLS/First Aid Required - Provided by SVT
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment background check including fingerprinting.
- Be able to travel as required on a quarterly basis to other communities including to and from Seldovia by small airplane and sometimes by boat when airplanes are on weather hold.
Nice to have
- Preferred but not required: Knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques
Compensation
- $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience
