Requirements

  • Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and a good working knowledge of SAP.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs.
  • Walking, bending, stooping is required.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ISO Category II Certification from a accredited certification provider (Vibration Institute, Mobius, Technical Associates, etc)
  • 2 or more years of vibration monitoring experience including solving machine problems using vibration analysis
  • Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain a 24/7 operating plant.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.

Skills

  • Vibration data collection and analysis
  • Timely reporting of vibration analysis findings and recommendations
  • Maintain vibration database
  • Repair shop acceptance testing as needed
  • Provide call out coverage as needed
  • Assist with failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Provide oversight and mentoring to less experienced Millwrights and Vibration Technicians
