Manage a case load of up to 20 clients.
Track participation, referrals, progress towards housing and other key elements within the program design.
Create and distribute workshop/activity schedules and ensure appropriate record keeping and reporting.

The desired candidate will have knowledge of the challenges faced by the Veteran community and recovery supportive services within the Milwaukee area.

Ability to work well with marginalized populations.
Ability to work well with adults of all ages.
Ability to handle crises appropriately and communicate effectively with others.

Some after-hour availability is required to respond to after-hour emergencies.
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field plus two (2) years of case management experience working with diverse populations preferred.

An associate degree in human services or related field
And a minimum of four (4) years of case management experience including experience in housing navigation or working with homeless populations.
Familiar with issues related to homelessness, mental illness, and substance abuse.
Understanding of motivational interviewing and stages of change principals preferred.
Knowledge of federal poverty guidelines, HUD guidelines, and HUD rent calculations.
Knowledge of Clarity or other HMIS systems.
Crisis prevention and intervention training is provided but previous experience preferred.
